Last week we gathered our 12th Tribe family to celebrate the season the only way we know how: fur was worn, espresso martinis were poured, and Venice Beach turned into The Chalet Club for the night.
Think après holiday chic with a costal twist: cocktail dresses paired with cowboy hats, a live sunset DJ set, and champagne consumed at the same pace normal humans drink water. It was the kind of night where you check the time once, decide it's wrong, and keep dancing away.
Bringing The Chalet Club to Life
The Chalet Club isn't just a place, it’s a season. It’s that stretch of time when your favorite people all end up in the same room, the drinks keep magically refilling, and the chaos somehow feels cozy in the best way. Bringing this story to life in person felt like opening the door, turning up the music, and inviting our team and community straight into that feeling.
Partnering with Thornton Lofts made it all possible. We started with a beautiful, open beachside canvas and turned it into a moody, elevated holiday moment. Real life proof that the space can truly become whatever you dream up. From intimate dinners to full-scale celebrations, it’s the kind of venue that meets you where your vision is and lets it shine.
The Chalet Experience
From the second the night kicked off, The Chalet Club was officially alive. Guests naturally found their way to the Bandero bar (in record timing), sipping custom holiday cocktails while the music set the mood. Our DJ, @musicmymosa, kept the dance floor very much alive, while content moments unfolded naturally throughout the space.
And yes… Santa showed up. All 6’4” of him. Suddenly everyone remembered their manners. Nearby, a cozy s’mores bar and curated bites gave guests a reason to slow down, stay awhile, and actually catch up. And if Venice coffee snobs approve coffee tequila, you know Bandero did something right. Their bar quickly became the heartbeat of the night and kept The Chalet Club spirit flowing well into the evening.

At the heart of 12th Tribe is our team; the people who show up every day bringing dedication and serious hustle in everything we do. This night was a true celebration of them; the ones who turn ideas into reality, handle the chaos with grace, and somehow make it all looks effortless. Seeing our team step away from their desks, out from behind the scenes, and fully in the moment together was one of the most meaningful parts of the evening for me.
This holiday party felt like a pause button and a celebration all in one. It was a chance to recognize the work, late nights, and passion that fuel this brand year-round. And while our community, collaborators, and partners add so much magic to what we do, this night was a reminder that it all starts with the people building it every day. Watching our team celebrate together was the real highlight and exactly why creating moments like this matters so much to me.

As the year comes to a close, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. To our 12th Tribe team, thank you for bringing this vision to life. And to our community and partners, thank you for continuing to show up with so much love, support, and belief in what we’re building together!
The Chalet Club felt like both a celebration and a fresh start. As we head into 2026, we’re excited to create even more moments like this with you; more gatherings, more partnerships, and more experiences rooted in community.
