What are your shipping options?

US Overnight Shipping: next business day delivery by end of day. US Express Shipping: delivery within 2-3 business days. US Standard Shipping: 6-8 business days. Free US Standard Shipping is valid on orders $120 or more—no promo code required, just select Standard Shipping during checkout. Shipping thresholds are subject to change during sales and promotional events. US Express orders must be placed before 2 PM PST to ship within one business day.

My package is lost, stolen, or damaged?

If you insured your package with 12th Tribe Package Protection, reach out via live chat or email hello@12thtribe.com and we'll help with lost, damaged-in-transit, or stolen packages. Claims for packages marked delivered but not received must be made 5 days after the delivery date but no longer than 15 days. Claims for packages presumed lost must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last scan. Without package protection, 12th Tribe is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

What if my package was returned to sender?

If your package is returned to the sender due to an address discrepancy, 12th Tribe will not be held responsible. When the item is returned successfully, we will contact you about the shipment and further assist you.

Can I cancel my order or update the shipping address?

To request a cancellation or change in shipping address, email hello@12thtribe.com within 12 hours of placing your order. Due to our fast order processing, we cannot guarantee cancellations or address changes.

What is a pre-order item and when will it ship?

Pre-orders are advance purchases that secure highly sought-after items before they arrive at our warehouse. The pre-order date indicates when we anticipate receiving the item. Time frames: Early = Week 1-2, Mid = Week 2-3, Late = Week 3-4. Unforeseen circumstances like weather, customs, and carrier delays can affect the timeline.

How can I track my package?

Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email with your tracking information. You can track the progress of your order directly on your 12th Tribe tracking page.

When will I receive my order?

We want you to receive your order as fast as possible. International orders are typically delivered within 8-14 business days once fulfilled, with the estimated delivery date shown on your tracking page.

What is your return policy?

For eligible items, we offer refunds, gift card, store credit, or an exchange within 15 days of the delivery date for full-priced items with tags attached and in original, unworn condition. Not eligible: accessories, hats, swimwear, and items purchased on sale or as part of a promotion (including Holiday Promos, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Flash Sales, and Secret Sales). If you return for a refund, the return cost is deducted from your refund. Exchanges, gift cards, and Shop Now purchases incur no handling fees. You must ship items back with the label we provide.

How do I submit a return request?

You can start your return request through our returns portal linked on our site.

What items are not eligible for return or exchange?

Non-returnable and non-exchangeable items include: sale and final-sale marked items, hats, swimwear, jewelry, accessories, intimates, vintage garments, and masks. Thrasher Shorts are made to order and eligible for gift cards only. Any items outside the 15-day policy are non-returnable, including Holiday Promos, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Flash Sales, and Secret Sales.

What is the cost for return shipping?

If you return for a refund, the return cost of $9.95 is deducted from the total of your refund. If you return for a Gift Card or Exchange, we provide a pre-paid label. Vintage Thrasher Shorts are not eligible for a pre-paid return label.

My item is damaged after wearing or washing?

12th Tribe will not be held responsible for replacing or accepting a return of any washed items, or if an item has been worn or tried on and damaged as a result.

Can I return swimwear?

All swimwear items are Final Sale and are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Can I exchange my items?

Yes, there are several ways to exchange items for free. Exchange: enjoy a 15-day exchange window from the date of purchase; we ship your exchange once we receive your return. Shop Now: exchange for other items plus bonus shopping cash, with the credited amount instantly available at the cart page.

Can I send items back together from different orders?

At this time, we cannot accommodate returns with items from multiple orders. Items from separate orders must be received and processed individually.

Can I still return even if I used a discount code during purchase?

Some promotions are final sale, while others are eligible for return. Final Sale details are made visible on the product page and related promotions via email, SMS, and throughout our website.

Do you price match other stores or previous sales on 12th Tribe?

We offer price matching within 3 days for all purchases made from our website or app. We do not offer price matching from other stores.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

It takes 10-12 business days for processing from the point the item is delivered to us. Once processed, refunds can take an average of 2-4 business days to appear depending on your bank.

Why didn't I receive the full amount in my refund?

If you return for a refund, the shipping and return costs are deducted from your refund. Package Protection and shipping are non-refundable once your item has been processed and is no longer eligible for cancellation.

What is Shop Now and how does it work?

You can submit your return request and opt for Shop Now instead of a refund. With Shop Now you can shop for new items instantly plus get extra cash to shop, with the credit applied instantly at your cart page. Final Sale items are non-returnable.

Is there a return cost for my original order if I use Shop Now?

No. One of the great benefits of Shop Now is that we comp the return label for your original items. Just drop off your return items at the post office within our 15-day return policy.

What is Instant Exchange and how does it work?

You have up to 15 days from the date of delivery to request an exchange. Once your return is on its way back to us, your exchange order will be shipped. Final sale items are non-exchangeable.

When will my exchange order ship?

After completing your return request and placing your exchange, you'll receive an email within 24 hours confirming your exchange order. It ships as soon as your return is on its way back to us. Shipping usually takes 6 to 8 business days; the exchange is free and we comp the return label and standard shipping.

How should I care for my swimsuit?

Hand wash separately with cold water and gentle soap after each use. Avoid soaking and dry in the shade. Do not pack wet suits with other garments or keep them balled up. Avoid dry cleaning and minimize contact with sunscreens, oils, chlorine, and rough surfaces. For sanitary reasons, try on items over underwear. We recommend plant-based detergent for longer-lasting color.

Destination Wedding Perfect Dress!

"I never write reviews but I had to take the time for this dress! I wore it for a destination wedding in Tulum. I have never received more compliments on a dress before in my life! It was so perfect for the hot weather and looked great with my spray tan. I have another wedding in July that I really would love to wear it to but it will be a lot of the same attendees. I need to find another place to wear because it is one of those dresses you just feel amazing in! I had to use a little bit of magic to tape up the girls because a normal bandeau bra would be seen through the gold hardware dip in front but it was fine!
